Senior Product Manager

Global Assessment is the largest programme of work at the Oxford University Press (OUP) English Language Teaching (ELT) division valued at £77m, with the aim of launching a range of English tests over a period of 10 years.

As Digital product manager for Global Assessment I worked on the OUP’s flagship product, known as The Oxford Test of English (OTE).

Forecast to deliver £24.2m the OTE is aimed at providing high quality, computer-adaptive general English proficiency tests for secondary and adult learners.

By working across key work streams, liaising with senior stake holders and third party suppliers I drove forward the development and implementation of features to meet business requirements while providing an optimal user experience.

These features included:

  • User centric interfaces for customer registration and management,

  • Integration with salesforce system for test centre on boarding,

  • Ability to produce certificates, report cards and filter result within a specified time frame,

  • Integration with the eCommerce project for online product/license ordering and fulfilment,

  • Interfaces that provide 3rd party verification of results.
